When placing your order online or with a floral specialist, BloomsToday will attempt to authorize your credit card and provide a total amount for your order. As a VeriSign secured site, all transactions on our site are as secure as possible. If for any reason there is a problem with the authorization, you will be asked to validate the information or provide a second payment method.

All credit card authorizations will include applicable service and/or shipping fees.

Delivery Fees


• Shipping Fee

All orders for our Gift Box Program are delivered by UPS and include an applicable shipping fee. These fees include next day shipping within the United States, with the exception of Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Guam:

  • This fee may vary according to location, weekend service or holiday deliveries.
  • Changes to delivery information after the order has been shipped may result in additional fees.
  • Open Blooms is unable to deliver gift box products to P.O. Boxes.
  • The UPS carrier may leave the package if no one is available to accept the delivery (no signature is required).
  • Express Service Fee (Gift Box Program)Customers electing our express service will have a fee added for the expedited delivery.

• Rush Service Fee

On rare occasions, rush deliveries may be requested to meet funeral service time requirements. Applicable rush fees may be applied.


Taxes are added to all orders delivered in Virginia.
A Flowers Sent Today (FST) charge may be applied to orders delivered in the recipient’s state.

Delivery Guidelines

Same day delivery:

Florists have until the close of business to deliver a product to the recipient. This may be up to 5:00p.m. for business deliveries and may be as late as 7:00p.m. for residential deliveries. During the holidays, deliveries may be as late as 9:00pm.

If an email address was provided at the point of sale, a delivery confirmation will automatically be emailed. You may also call 1-703-810-7279 during business hours (8am-8pm EST Mon-Fri and 8am-6pm EST Sat-Sun) to speak with a customer service representative who can provide a delivery confirmation.

Express Delivery:

Express delivery on items ordered for same-day delivery will be delivered within a 4-hour window. Customers who purchased this service for a future delivery date should expect delivery before 1:00pm on the requested delivery date.

Gift Box Program (next day or future delivery):

UPS shipments have no guaranteed delivery time and a signature is not required. The UPS carrier may leave the package if no one is available to accept the delivery. All orders for the gift box program will have a UPS tracking number available. If you did not receive a tracking number in an email, please call 1-703-810-7279.

In all delivery scenarios, it is possible that an item has been delivered but the formal confirmation may not yet be available. Please confirm with the recipient before claiming a non-delivery or allow adequate time for the delivery process and tracking updates.
